We are an automotive sales organisation for worldwide aftermarket activities of a group of reknown German engine part manufacturers and is located in Shanghai area.Our main products cover the range of pistons, liners, filters, filters, pumps, valves, gaskets and cylinder.
Purchase Coordinator is responsible for processing purchase orders and disposition procedures, this position includes some administrative tasks. The Purchase Coordinator reports to the Purchase Manager and has to work closely with the Sales Department / Customer Service.
Tasks:
• Purchase order placing, processing and handling
• Set up purchase orders in clients ERP-system
• Set up new suppliers in clients ERP-system and maintain supplier master data
• Be partner for the supplier on the phone regarding alternative items, delivery status, delivery date (new products and existing orders)
• Internal communication with the local related departments such as Quality, Sales, Finance and Logistics as well as with the related departments in German headquarters
• General support for administration of the company
• Filing
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Training and working experience
• University graduate with a degree in business or administration
• At least 2-3 years working experience in purchasing, experience in the automotive aftermarket is a plus
• Self-organised working style
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Team player
Language skills
• Fluent Chinese in speaking, reading and writing (native speaker)
• Fluent English in speaking and writing
Computer skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Package
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP-system is an advantage
