Perform DFM for the new product and identify potential risks or problems in product design, specifications, materials and processes.Drive suppliers on-site process control and develop quality programs to ensure highquality performanceis consistently delivered.Utilizing DOE and statistical tool to resolvecomplex manufacturing process, quality, and reliability issues.Set up incoming material inspection, testing and sampling plan to ensure robust incoming quality control at supplier side.Establish OQC inspection and testing process with guard band and tester correlation to ensure out-going parts quality.Manage ongoingreliability test plan and ensure vendor execution and take actions to ORT failure and lead risk assessment.Regular process audits to ensure vendor comply with POR process parameters and achieve expected results.Review progress of development activities at supplier locations and serve as point of escalation for critical process related issues.Assess supplier readiness to support NPIbuildsand mass production, Identify potentialrisky and block itemsand provide recommendations to mitigate risk.Work with supplier onprocess optimizationfor yield continuous improvement to meet the FPY target.Drivesupplier or sub-tier suppliers for quality reviewto find out root causes & solutions for the issue happened at supplier production line,CM IQC, FATP and field returns.Participate to audit new Fansupplier or existing suppliers, and co-work with relatedFB SQEto qualify the process and assembly line.Support other stuffs if necessary. Requirement Strong mechanical experience, includes the capability of reviewing tool DFM, tool qualification.Have good hands on experienceon Fanassembly process setup.Familiar withfunctional test,cosmetic inspection and reliability test for Fan.Solid understanding on quality tools,such as Pareto charts/8D problem solving, FMEA, GR&R, FAI, Cpketc. 6-Sigma black belt is a plus.Bachelor’s in electrical or mechanical or engineering preferred, Master degree is a plus.Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing and quality environment.3+ years working experience in managing supplier base as FanSQE.
